The Music of the Night

A piece I was suddenly inspired to do, and which took me a long time to complete, not to mention the 8h render... but I think I like how it turned out. It was intended for a competition for the Daz3D platinum club (still have to submit it). We had to find a song and do a piece on it. This is based on Andrew Lloyd Webber's Music of the Night from the Phantom of the Opera.

The story:
In the beginning there was only Day and Night, Day was winged and beautiful, Night was dark and mysterious. Night longed after Day, but Day avoided him. Night then sang to Day, and she was enchanted by his mystery and gave in to his charms...

Flagged for nudity for anyone who would protest, but these are anthropomorphic personifications, so it is not so much that they are naked, it is that they cannot really wear clothes (compare the Egyptian primal gods).
